Three Vikings finished first in their respective event averages, while the men’s team captured first overall, and the women’s team placed second.

Marshall, Mo., (Sept. 23, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College rodeo teams hosted the annual Viking Stampede Rodeo over the weekend at the Saline County Fairgrounds in Marshall, Mo. The women’s team captured first in the standings, with two event winners, while the men’s team placed third.
Viking Stampede Rodeo Begins Thursday, Lasts Through Saturday

Marshall, Mo. (Sept. 18, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College rodeo programs are set to host the annual Viking Stampede Rodeo this week at the Saline County Fairgrounds in Marshall, Mo. This is the only home event of the year for the Viking rodeo teams and marks the beginning of the 2024-25 rodeo competition season. All Missouri Valley College students, faculty and staff have free admission to each night of the rodeo.
