Weightlifting Competes at University Nationals
Columbus, Ohio, (March 2, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College weightlifting team traveled to Columbus, Ohio, for the USA Weightlifting University Nationals, held as a part of the Arnold Classic, the largest sports festival in the world. Ten Viking student-athletes qualified and competed, highlighted by Senior Ontarriyus Reid (Palatka, Fla.) who took home the program's first-ever gold medal, winning the Snatch event in his weight class, and also becoming the program's first four-time National medalist.
Women's Wrestling Produces Two Champions at Heart Championship
Oskaloosa, Iowa, (March 1, 2025)-The No. 8 Missouri Valley College women’s wrestling team competed at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship in Oskaloosa, Iowa, Saturday. The Vikings produced four finalists, two individual conference champions, nine automatic national qualifiers, and a third place finish.
