Golf Teams Produce Individual Champion, Team Title at CMU Spring Invite

Boonville, Mo., (March 25, 2025)-  The Missouri Valley College men's and women's golf teams played in the Central Methodist (Mo.) Spring Invitational at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville, Mo., Monday and Tuesday.  Both teams produced the individual champion, and the men's team placed first overall in the standings.

St. Louis, Mo., (March 25, 2025)-  The No. 3 Missouri Valley College men's volleyball team traveled to St. Louis, Mo., Tuesday evening, for a Heart of America Athletic Conference match against Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo.).  The Vikings swept their way to a victory by scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-15.

Marshall, Mo., (Mar. 25, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College softball team hosted Cottey (Mo.) Tuesday afternoon at Lyon Bowl in a non-conference doubleheader. The Vikings fell in a close game in game one, 4-3, followed by a 7-1 defeat in game two.

Kansas City, Mo., (March 25, 2025)-  The Missouri Valley College baseball team traveled to Kansas City, Mo., for a non-conference 9-inning game against Avila (Mo.).  The Vikings scored late, and held off the Eagles in the final at-bat to earn a 5-4 win on the road.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa, (March 24, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College women's lacrosse team traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to play Mount Mercy (Iowa) in a Heart of America Athletic Conference contest Monday afternoon.  The Vikings pulled away in the second half to earn an 18-7 victory.

Poplarville, Miss.., (March 23, 2025)-  The Missouri Valley College men's and women's rodeo teams continued their spring competition seasons with the Pearl River (Miss.) rodeo in Poplarville, Miss., over the weekend.  The men's team finished first in the standings, with one event winner in the average, while the women's team placed seventh.

Rolla, Mo., (March 2, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College track and field teams continued their outdoor season competing at the Miner Invitational (Mo.) in Rolla, Mo., Friday and Saturday. The Vikings competed against programs from multiple collegiate divisions at the event. The women’s team was led by Sophomore Jozelynn Bostick, who won the 3000 meter run with a time of 12:20.74, and Freshman Aarion Pickens, who placed second in the shot put with a distance of 12.11 meters. Leading the men’s team was Freshman Dante Gordon (Kingston, Jamaica), who placed third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 47.89.
