Spring NAIA Scholar Athletes Recognized, New Department Record Set
May 23, 2024
Marshall, Mo., (May 23, 2024)- Missouri Valley College spring athletic teams have produced 40 Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes for the 2024 spring sports season spread across 11 separate programs. Softball produced the most scholar athletes of the spring season, with 11 student-athletes recognized. A combined 115 student-athletes were recognized with the award for the 2023-24 academic year, setting a new record department record.
Men's Lacrosse Closes Season With Win Over Midland

Marshall, Mo., (April 14, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College men’s lacrosse team hosted Midland (Neb.) in a non-conference game to close the regular season. The Vikings pulled away in the third quarter, then held off a late rally for a 9-8 victory.
Men's Lacrosse Suffers Home Loss to No. 5 William Penn

Marshall, Mo., (April 10, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s lacrosse teams hosted William Penn (Iowa) in a Heart of America Athletic Conference doubleheader Wednesday evening inside Volney C. Ashford Stadium. The women’s team cut down a halftime deficit, but eventually fell by a final score of 15-8. The men’s team dropped its game to the No. 5 Statesmen.

Ashford Stadium. The women’s team fell to the No. 10 Ravens, while the men’s team dropped its contest.
