Women's Golf Competes at Heart Championship

Moravia, Iowa, (April 23, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College women's golf team competed at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship at The Preserve on Rathbun Lake in Moravia, Iowa, Monday and Tuesday.

 

Leading the team was Freshman Kendra Warden (Paris, Canada) who placed at No. 21 with a three-round score of +40 (256).  Warden finished with rounds of +19 (91), +16 (88) and +5 (77).  Her third round score of +5 (77) was second-lowest of the round, and third-lowest in any round of play at the tournament.

 

Sophomore Madison Mills (Willard, Mo.) placed at No. 33 with a three-round score of +66 (282).  Mills posted scores of +30 (102), +24 (96) and +12 (84) in her three rounds of play.

 

Mount Mercy (Iowa) won the tournament as a team, with a final score of +74 (938).  Missouri Valley did not finish with a team score.

 

Up next, the men's golf team will compete at the Heart Championship at The Preserve on Rathbun Lake in Moravia, Iowa, April 29-30.
