Track and Field Teams Competes at Ichabod Invite

 

 Topeka, Kan., (Feb. 9-10, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Ichabod invite Friday and Saturday in Topeka, Kan. 

 

Men's Results:

Sophomore Derel Morris (New York, N.Y.): Placed 14th in the 600 yard dash with a time of 1:18.61.

Senior Khobi Kellerman (Hometown): Placed 49th in the one mile with a time of 4:36.28

 

Women's Results:

Senior Macie Ables (Olathe, Kan.): Placed 18th in weight throw with a distance of 14.34 meters. She also placed 29 th in shot put with a distance of 11.29 meters. 

Junior Paula Romero Rodriguez (Madrid, Spain): Placed 22nd in weight throw with a distance of 14.28 meters. She also placed 25th in shot put with a distance of 11.71 meters

Junior Kylie Linson (Troy, Mo.): Placed 24th in weight throw with a distance of 13.92 meters.  She also placed 39th in shot put with a distance of 10.01 meters.

Junior Zoey Chrisman : placed 26th in weight throw with a distance of 13.53 meters.

Freshman Isabella Kuenkamp (Warrensburg, Mo.): Placed 41 in weight throw with a distance of 11.03 meters. 

Freshman Choize Hysten (Topeka, Kan.): Placed 73rd in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.84.

Up next, the Viking track and field teams will compete at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship, Feb. 16-17, in Maryville, Mo.
