Bio

Chris joins the baseball coaching staff in the fall of 2023 after finishing up his collegiate playing career at Lyon (Ark.).  Lara was a second team all-conference selection in the AMC while at Lyon, and was a member of the 2022 AMC Tournament championship team that advanced to the NAIA Opening Round.  He also played two seasons at Garden City (Kan.) and was an all-conference selection in both 2018 and 2019.

Cris was a member of the Lyon coaching staff during the 2023 season, and will serve as the infield coach and assistant hitting coach on the Missouri Valley staff.  He graduated from Lyon in 2023 with a degree in exercise science.
