Cross Country Teams Compete at Seminole Valley Stampede

Cedar Rapids, Iowa, (Oct. 21, 2023)- The Missouri Valley College cross country teams competed at the Seminole Valley Stampede, Saturday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

 

The men's team was led by Khobi Kellerman (Auxvasse, Mo.) in the 8k race with a time of 28:04 to place at No. 34.  Junior Tyler Polley (Brookfield, Mo.) followed at No. 79 in a time of 32:54, with Freshman Angel Lopez (Los Fresnos, Texas) finishing at No. 86 in a time of 35:26.  Senior Rodrigo Escalona-Rodriguez (El Paso, Texas) came in at No. 87 with a time of 35:26.

 

In the women's 5k race, Freshman Allexis Lark (Alma, Mo.) placed at No. 51 with a time of 23:32.  Freshman Jeralding Olivas (Senath, Mo.) followed at No. 57 with a time of 24:21. 

 

Up next, the Viking cross country teams will compete at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Nov. 4.
