Cross Country Teams Open Seasons at Southwest Baptist Invite
Bolivar, Mo., (Sept. 1, 2023)- The Missouri Valley College men's and women's cross country teams opened their seasons at the Southwest Baptist Invite in Bolivar, Mo., Friday evening.
Senior Khobi Kellerman (Auxvasse, Mo.) led the men's team with a time of 22:23 in the 6250k race to place at No. 93. Sophomore Daytona Blaine (Shelbina, Mo.) finished at No. 110 with a time of 23:22, while Junior Ranse Santiago (Kaufman, Texas) came in at No. 133 with a time of 24:59.
Running for the women's team was Freshman Jozelynn Bostick (Centralia, Mo.) who finished at No. overall with a time of 19:21 in the 5k race.
Up next, the cross country teams compete at the Columbia Cougar Invite in Columbia, Mo., Sept. 15.
