MISSOURI VALLEY COLLEGE TRACK AND FIELD TEAMS FINISHES THEIR INDOOR SEASON AT THE HEART OF AMERICA INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Maryville, Mo., (Feb. 16-17, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College men's and women's track and field teams finish their indoor season at the Heart of America Indoor Championships, Friday and Saturday in Maryville, Mo. 

 

Men's Results:

Junior Chase Buford (Republic, Mo): placed  4th  in long jump with a distance of  6.92 meters. 

 

Senior Khobi Kellerman (Auxvasse, Mo): Placed  9th  in the one mile with a time of  4:30.74. 

 

 4x400 meter relay (Munoz, Morris, Fisher, Escalona-Rodriguez) placed  12th  with a time of  3:35.61. 

 

Women's Results:

 Senior Macie Ables (Olathe, Kan.): Placed 9th in weight throw with a distance of 15.01 meters. She also placed  16th  in shot put with a distance of  10.50  meters. 

 

Junior Paula Romero Rodriguez (Madrid, Spain): Placed  11th  in weight throw with a distance of  14.76  meters. She also placed 13th  in shot put with a distance of  11.20  meters.

 

Junior Zoey Chrisman (Brookfield, Mo) : placed 13th in weight throw with a distance of  14.31  meters. 

 

Junior Kylie Linson (Troy, Mo.): Placed 16th in weight throw with a distance of  13.93  meters.  She also placed 39th in shot put with a distance of 10.01 meters.

 

Sophomore Federica Gammarota (Sofoggia, Italy): Placed 17th in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 10.15 . 

 

4x400 meter relay (Lechuga, Loot, Shurme, Gammarota) placed  9th  with a time of  4:17.51.
