Marshall, Mo., (Jan. 30, 2025)- The No. 18 Missouri Valley College men's wrestling team hosted No. 1 Grand View (Iowa) in a Heart of America Athletic Conference dual, Thursday evening inside the Burns Athletic Complex. The Vikings fell by a final score of 44-9.
125 pounds: Sophomore Robert Albert (Cape Coral, Fla.) lost to No. 1 Aden Reeves in a 17-2 technical fall. Grand View leads, 5-0.
133 pounds: Sophomore Haden Hernandez (Huntington Beach, Calif.) defeated Ryan Lobato in a 7-0 decision. Grand View leads, 5-3.
141 pounds: Sophomore Joseph Kenny (St. Peters, Mo.) lost to Tony Mendoza in a second period (3:21) pin. Grand View leads, 11-3.
149 pounds: Freshman Bishop Rush (St. Joseph, Mo.) lost to Elijah Larsen in a second period (4:41) pin. Grand View leads, 17-3.
157 pounds: Freshman Rich Hart (Perkins, Okla.) won as Grand View left the weight class open. Grand View leads, 17-9.
