Bio

William Morrison joined the Missouri Valley College track and field coachign staff prior to the 2024 indoor season.  Morrison is a well-decorated throwing athlete.  Competing for the Phillippines National Team, he was a finalist in the 2023 Asian Athletics Cahmpionship, a 2022 shot put champion at the South East Asian Games, a 2022 bronze medalist at the 2022 South East Asian Games, a 2022 National Champion in both shot put and discus, a 2019 champion in shot put at the 2019 South East Asian Games and a silver medalist in the discus at the 2019 South East Asian Games.  He also holds a National team record.

Collegiately, Morrison competed at NCAA Division I Indiana where he was a memberof the 2020 Big 10 championship team, and was an indoor all-American that season.  He was also the bronze medalist at the 2020 Big Ten Championships in shot put.  In 2018, Morris was the Big 10 outdoor shot put chamipon, and was the 2017 Big 10 indoor shot put champion.  He finished his career-as a four-time All-American and program record holder.  Morrison is also a high school record holder in the state of Kansas, and was a five-time state champion in shot put and discus.
