
Men's Track & Field Student-Athlete Competes at NAIA Indoor National Championships
Gainesville, Fla., (Feb. 28, 2025)- A Missouri Valley College men's track and field student-athlete competed at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships in Gainesville, Fla., Friday afternoon.
Freshman Dante Gordon (Kingston, Jamaica) competed in the 400 meter dash. Gordon finished with a time of 48.57 to place third in his heat, and No. 11 overall in the event.
Gordon earned a National qualifying berth, and set a program-record in the event, with a time of 48.08 to win an individual title at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships earlier this month.
Up next, the Viking track and field teams will open their outdoor seasons competing at the CMU Open in Fayette, Mo., March 15.
