Bio

David Calloway joins the Missouri Valley College football coaching staff as Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator in January of 2025 after spending two seasons at NCAA Division I Arkansas-Pine Bluff as Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach.  Coach Calloway has nearly 30 years of coaching experience, across multiple divisions of college football.  Prior to his time at Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Coach Calloway served as Head Coach of the Central Methodist (Mo.) football program from 2016-2022, winning a Heart South Division title and earning a berth into the NAIA Football Championship Series during the 2021 sseason.  Coach Calloway spent seven seasons with NCAA Division II Texas A&M-Kingsville, serving as Head Coach of the program from 2012-14.  Other stops for Coach Calloway include Southeastern Oklahoma State, Langston (Okla.), Hastings (Neb.) and Lane (Tenn.).

 

Coach Calloway earned a bachlor's of arts and science degree in broadcast journalism from Langston, and a Master's of Arts in Teaching, Physical Education degree from Hastings.
