Bio

Vickie was a 1976 graduate of Missouri Valley College.  She was a member of the first Missouri Valley College intercollegiate volleyball team in 1974 and was co-captain for two years.  Vickie was the only woman in the physical education department at the time.

During her undergraduate years Vickie was active in Delta Zeta Sorority and also started the tradition of decorating the campus with luminaries during the Hanging of the Greens.

After graduation Vickie taught in the public school system from 1978 to 1988 and coached volleyball, softball, track, and basketball.  She was Teacher of the Year in two different school districts.  In 1986 Vickie joined the Missouri Valley College staff coaching volleyball and softball for five years, while teaching history and education courses.  Vickie was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 1991.  While at Missouri Valley College Vickie was an advisor to the Varsity Women’s Athletic Association.  Vickie has been working for the Longaberger Company for 10 years.  Vickie is married to Ed McCloud, and they have one son.
