Bio
Kile graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1971, and is proud to be a third generation Valley graduate, with many other family members who are also Valley grads. A lifelong resident of Saline County, Kile attended rural Miami Elementary School prior to graduating from Marshall High School where he competed in football, wrestling, and track.
During his time at Missouri Valley College, Kile excelled at the nose guard position under Coach Volney Ashford, and Coach Ken Gibler. Kile was co-captain his senior season, and earned NAIA All-American Honorable Mention honors. Kile also wrestled for the Vikings for two seasons under Coach Ed Elliot.
In 1971 Kile began a two-year tour of duty in the United States Army, which included service in Vietnam. Returning to Marshall in 1973, Kile became a hog buyer with Wilson & Company until 1976 when he moved back to the family farm. In 1984 Kile accepted a job teaching history and coaching football and wrestling at Marshall High School.
After an 11-year tenure as wrestling coach – serving as head coach for two years, and an assistant for nine, Kile retired from coaching wrestling, but still directs the freshman football team at Marshall High School.
Kile completed his Master Degree in Education from Lindenwood University in 1999. Kile and his wife Sandra are the parents of four children.
