Bio
Harold graduated from Missouri Valley College in February of 1948 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Harold played football for the Vikings during the glory days of the win-streak in 1941 and 1942. Harold’s college days were interrupted with a three-year tour of duty with the United States Navy during World War II. Harold returned to school and to the Viking football teams in 1946 and 1947. Harold was a member of the squad that played in Valley’s first bowl game, the Boys’ Ranch Bowl in Abilene, Texas in 1947. That same season was capped by playing in the Cigar Bowl in Tampa, Florida in 1948.
Harold was employed shortly are graduation by the Amoco Oil Company and retired 32 years later. Upon his retirement Harold established and became president of two corporations; H. H. Scott, Inc. and PS & H, Ltd., for marketing petroleum products in Maryland. Harold sold both corporations in 1987 and once again announced his retirement.
