Bio
Greg Tinnen came to Missouri Valley College in 1971. At MVC he was a four-year varsity letterman at the safety position for the Missouri Valley College Viking football team. Greg received all-conference and all-district honors as a defensive back and punter in 1973 and 1974.
After leaving Missouri Valley College, Greg was invited to NFL camps for the Houston Oilers, New Orleans Saints, and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Since 1994, Greg has worked for Stageright Corporation out of Clare, Mich., as an installation and training consultant. He has installed equipment in various major arenas such as the Staples Center, Pepsi Center, and Reliant Park.
Greg and his wife, Brenda, currently reside in Plattsburg, Mo. They have two daughters, Susan and Ari, and a son, Wyatt. The couple also has two grandchildren.
When asked who influenced him the most during his time at MVC, Greg said, “My 71-72 teammates; Stan Jones, Tony Chandler, Bill Schuehardt, Mike Wojcik, Ron Stowers, Marty Riggs, John Morris, Ken Nienhaus, Danny Kratzer, and Jim Roskelly. These guys were better athletes, better students, and better men. They influenced me most by their example.”
