Bio
Amos graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1920 and received his A.B. Degree from Missouri Valley College in 1924. Amos earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Missouri in 1932 and was a member of Phi Delta Kappa.
Following graduation Amos served as a teacher and principal at Lexington High School from 1924 to 1945. From 1947 to 1951 Amos was the Principal at Marshall High School and an admissions counselor for Missouri Valley College. Amos was associated with the MFA Insurance Company in Columbia, Missouri from 1952 to 1965.
Amos died March 26, 1966, and was inducted posthumously into the first class of the Missouri Valley College athletic Hall of Fame.
