
Men's Volleyball Stays Highly Ranked in Latest Coaches' Poll
Marshall, Mo., (April 2, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College men's volleyball team remained highly ranked in the latest NAIA Men's Volleyball Coaches' Top 15 Poll, released Wednesday.
Missouri Valley stayed at No. 3 for the second-straight coaches' poll. This is the highest position for the program in the coaches' poll since also being ranked No. 3 back on March 10, 2021. The Vikings went 4-0 during the latest ratings period. The team swept Dordt (Iowa) and Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo.), to go with four-game wins over Morningside (Iowa) and Kansas Wesleyan. Tuesday's win at Graceland (Iowa) did not factor into this week's rankings.
A total of five teams from the Heart are featured in the coaches' poll. Missouri Baptist stayed at No. 5, Grand View (Iowa) moved to No. 7, Mount Mercy (Iowa) fell to No. 8, and Park (Mo.) remained at No. 9. Missouri Valley is 4-2 on the season against ranked teams, including a win over No. 6 Benedictine Mesa (Ariz.).
The Vikings are 17-2 overall and 13-2 in the Heart. Up next are two matches at home this weekend. The first is Friday at 7 p.m., against Clarke (Iowa), followed by a Saturday match at 2 p.m., against No. 8 Mount Mercy, both inside the Burns Athletic Complex.
