STUNT Sits Third in NAIA Rankings

Marshall, Mo., (Feb. 27, 2025)-The Missouri Valley College STUNT team opened up its 2025 competition season last week, and is among one of the top-ranked NAIA teams in the sport with the release of the season's first poll.

The Viking STUNT team is ranked at No. 3 in the NAIA division.  This is the first poll of the season.  The team opened its season with competition in Dallas, Texas, last week.  Missouri Valley fell to George Fox (Ore.), the No. 1 ranked team in the Division III poll, 14-13.  The team also competed against Texas, ranked No. 4 in the Club division, and NAIA No. 1 Hope International (Calif.).

The NAIA rankings include No. 1 Hope International, No. 2 Missouri Baptist, No. 3 Missouri Valley, No. 4 Ottawa-Arizona and No. 5 Arizona Christian.

This weekend, the team travels for competition in Lexington, Ky.  The Vikings will meet Division I No. 5 Missouri State, Club No. 3 Michigan State, Division II No. 16 Purdue-Northwest (Ind.) and Division I No. 2 Kentucky.

Friday, Missouri Valley takes on Missouri State at 1 p.m., followed by a 5:30 p.m., contest against Michigan State.  Saturday it's a 10:30 a.m., matchup against Purdue-Northwest, and a 1:30 p.m., meeting against Kentucky, all in Lexington, Ky.
