
Dance Team Takes First at DTU Regional
Lee's Summit, Mo., (Jan. 6, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College dance team opened the 2025 competition season competing at the Dance Team Union-Kansas City Regional in Lee's Summit, Mo. The Vikings competed in the College Team Performance category, and won the regional title.
Missouri Valley finished the competition with a total score of 80.80 to place first overall, and capture the DTU-Kansas City Regional title, and set a new high-score for the College Team Performance category. The regional championship qualifies the team to compete at the Dance Team Union National Championship April 12-13 in Orlando, Fla. This is the first DTU Regional title for the program.
Next up, the Viking dance team will open NAIA competition with the Falcon Invite, hosted by Friends (Kan.), Jan. 18.
