Bio

Warren graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1943 and was a four-year letterman in football, basketball, and track.  Warren earned First Team All-Conference football honors in 1941 and 1942, and earned Little All-American football honors in 1942.  Warren also was co-captain of the football team in 1942.

Following graduation Warren served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946.  After that Warren played professional football with the Bethlehem Bulldogs from 1946 to 1947 and was selected as First Team All-League quarterback in 1947.

Warren attended Colorado State University and earned his Master’s Degree in Physical Education and has been teaching and coaching the last 26 years.  Warren has taught and coached at Missouri Valley College, Edwardsville (IL) High School, Granite City (IL) High School, Liberty High School (Bethlehem, PA), Heat Football, Rutgers State University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Princeton University.

Warren has also been inducted into the Helms Foundation Hall of Fame.
