Bio

John graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1932.  While at Valley John was a member of the V-Club, Sigma Nu fraternity, and participated in football, basketball, and baseball.

For 30 years John was employed at Trailmobile (a division of the Pullman Corporation) in North Kansas City.  John has been active in many civic and community affairs; the General of the Clay-Platte United Way, President of the Greater Kansas City Downtown YMCA Business Men’s Health Club, recipient of the Statewide Recognition for Organizing Training Programs and Employment Opportunities for Minority Groups, and has worked at developing and instituting State Department Unemployment Compensation Claims for all employees in the State as standard procedure.

John has served as past President of the Kansas City and National Chapters of the Missouri Valley College Alumni Association, and served on the Board of Trustees.
