Bio

Everett (Wild Horse) Draper graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1948, and was a three-year letterman in basketball and track, and a two-year letterman in football and baseball.  During his basketball career Everett led the Vikings three years straight in scoring, and twice earned M.C.A.U. All-Conference honors, and was team captain his senior year.  In 1946 Everett led the team as high point man in the M.C.A.U. Conference track meet.  Everett played halfback on the Vikings undefeated football teams that won two bowl games, the Boy’s ranch Bowl (Abilene, Texas), and the Cigar Bowl (Tampa, Florida).

 

In 1960 Everett earned hi Master’s Degree from Central Missouri State University.  Everett moved on to a successful 32 year teaching career, three years at Mountain Grove and 29 years in the Kansas City Public School System.  Everett has also been a high school and college football, basketball, baseball, and track sports official.

Everett and his wife Elizabeth have three children Ron, Don, and Debbie.
