Marshall, Mo., (July 16, 2024)- Missouri Valley College student-athletes have been recognized by the Heart of America Athletic Conference as Heart Scholar Athletes for the 2023-24 academic year, leading the conference in total award winners.
Marshall, Mo., (May 23, 2024)- Missouri Valley College spring athletic teams have produced 40 Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes for the 2024 spring sports season spread across 11 separate programs. Softball produced the most scholar athletes of the spring season, with 11 student-athletes recognized. A combined 115 student-athletes were recognized with the award for the 2023-24 academic year, setting a new record department record.
Baldwin City, Kan., (May 4, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College track and field teams traveled to Baldwin City, Kan., to compete at the 2024 Heart Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Conference Championship, Presented by WinWon Technologies, Friday and Saturday. The men’s team was led by Freshman Joseph Lepak who finished third in the javelin throw. The women’s team was led by Sophomore Federica Gammarota who finished fourth in the 400 meter hurdles. Four Vikings earned Heart All-Conference status, Joseph Lepak earned 3rd Team All-Conference and Chase Buford, Federica Gammarota and Jozelynn Bostick earned Honorable Mention All-Conference.

Baldwin City, Kan., (April 27, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s track and field teams closed the outdoor regular season with the ZK Invite, hosted by Baker (Kan.) in Baldwin City, Kan. The women's team was led by three runner-up placers, while the men's team produced eight finishes in the top ten.
Track & Field Competes at Mule Relays
Warrensburg, Mo., (April 12, 2023)- The Missouri Valley College men?s and women?s track and field teams continued their outdoor seasons with the Mule Relays in Warrensburg, Mo., Friday. The teams competed against NCAA Division II and NAIA programs. Freshman Jozelynn Bostick (Centralia, Mo.) set a new program-record in the women's 3000 meter steeplechase.
