Bio

Sam graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1949 and was an offensive lineman on the 1946 to 1949 Viking football teams that were undefeated and amassed a 41-game win streak.  Sam was also a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity and Phi Delta Kappa educational fraternity.

Following graduation Sam earned a Master’s of Science Degree in Education from the University of Missouri.  While working on his Master’s Degree Sam was a teacher and counselor at Westport High School in Kansas City.  Sam has also been an elementary school principal, and an instructor in the educational division of IBM and Litton Industries.

Presently Sam is the manager of the Commercial Real Estate Department of the United Farm Agency, Inc., a position he has held since 1977.

Sam has been active as President of the South Kansas City Kiwanis Club, a member of the Kansas City Board of Realtors, and the National Real Estate Board, Sam is also a certified business counselor and Boy Scout counselor.

Sam and his wife Barbara have three children.
