Bio

Mike Hedrick was a key member of the Viking football team during his four years with the program, making his mark on the offensive line.  A four-year letterman, Mike was named to the first team all-conference in the Heart of America Athletic Conference three times, from 1989-1991.  He was also a 1990 All-America selection, along with serving as the V-Club President from 1990-91.  Mike helped the program to an undefeated record in the Heart in 1989, and an appearance in the quarterfinal round of the NAIA Football Championship, as the team finished with a 10-2 record that season.

Since graduating from Missouri Valley, Mike become an accomplished and award-winning educator, focusing on special education and physical education.  In 2017, he was named Teacher of the Year at Holden (Mo.) High School.
