Keith made his primary athletic impact at Missouri Valley College on the football field, under the direction of Volney Ashford, and was also a V-Club member.
Following graduation in 1954, Keith reported to Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX for a tour of duty in the United States Army. Keith worked in the battalion personnel office for a guided missile group.
In 1956 Keith entered the corporate world in Chicago, after three years he entered the sales field to return closer to home. In 1959 that goal was reached and Keith relocated to Kansas City where he remains active in sales after 37 years. Keith is the co-owner of manufacturing representative agency and covers territories in Missouri and Kansas.
Keith and his wife Marilyn have been married for 22 years and each have three children from previous marriages, who have given them 13 wonderful grandchildren. In his spare time Keith is active with a Special Olympics Group Home, 4-H Projects of his grandchildren, traveling (especially to the Caribbean and American Southwest), and playing golf.
