Hubert graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1933, and was captain of the 1932 football team. Hubert was named as the 1932 All-State Football Center, and while at Missouri Valley College he also participated in basketball and track.
Following graduation Hubert’s career was one of service to the City of Marshall. Before graduation Hubert went to work part time for the Municipal Utilities, following graduation he continued with the Municipal Utilities working as a lineman, serviceman, and meter man. In 1949 he was promoted to Superintendent of Production-Distribution, and retired in 1980.
Hubert served as President and Secretary of the Missouri Association of Municipal Utilities and has been widely recognized for his work by the Marshall Chamber of Commerce, the State of Missouri, and Missouri Valley College.
In addition Hubert was a member and past president of the Marshall Lions Club, president of the Missouri Valley College Quarterback Club, board member of the Marshall Chamber of Commerce and the First Christina Church.
