Bio

Harold graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1935, and was a member of the M.C.A.U. Championship football teams of 1932 and 1933 playing halfback.  Harold was captain of the 1934 football team and V-Club President.  Harold was an honor roll student all four years at Valley and was selected by the faculty to the Beta Gamma Phi Senior Scholastic fraternity, and was also selected to Who’s Who Among America’s College’s and Universities.

Following graduation Harold was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army in 1936 and retired a full Colonel with 34 years active and reserve military service.  During his career Harold was awarded four Bronze Battle Stars and a Meritorious Service Citation.  Following the war Harold served as a Corporate Purchasing Agent and Material Management Coordinator for the Peabody Coal, Company, and allied Companies until his retirement in 1977.

Harold has maintained and active association with Missouri Valley College since graduation and the past president of the greater St. Louis Area Alumni Association, past-president of the Missouri Valley College Alumni Association and was awarded the Missouri Valley College Service Award in 1975.

Harold and his wife Marguerite have one son.
