Marshall, Mo., (Dec. 18, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College women's soccer will finish its season ranked in the top 15 of the postseason edition NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released Wednesday.

Two other teams from the Heart of America Athletic Conference are ranked in the postseason poll.  MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) moved into the poll at No. 16, and Central Methodist (Mo.) fell to No. 19.  Missouri Valley finished with a 4-4 record against ranked teams.  The Vikings fell to No. 2 Keiser, No. 3 Columbia (Mo.), 1-0, No. 16 MidAmerica Nazarene, 3-2 and No. 17 Oklahoma Wesleyan, 3-2.  The wins came over No. 7 John Brown (Ark.), 3-2, No. 16 MNU, 1-0, No. 19 Central Methodist, 3-2 and No. 22 Truett-McConnell.

Missouri Valley finished its season with a 15-5-1 overall record, and captured the program's first Heart regular season title since 1993 with an undefeated 10-0-1 record in conference play.  The team also advanced to the National site of the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship for the first time since 1991.
